Course Description
This credit line utilizes theoretical frameworks and models of leading, in order to provide a
foundation for the agreement of effective leadership in organizations. A major cerebrate of the
course is the development of each participant’s leadership potential. A variety of skill
methods are employed to achieve the learning goals. Participants have the opportunity to
assess, practice, and plan for the development of many skills necessity for effective leadership.
To enhance reflection and self-assessment, there are questionnaires, as well as classroom
exercises, experienced in a substantiating group environment. Examples of effective
organizational leadership are critically examined in case studies, which also depict leaders
as powerful usance models.
Current leadership topics to be covered include set and ethics,
power and empowerment, management style, shared team leadership, leadership
development, and leadership and change, hence providing compendium from both the macro and
micro organizational levels.
