Community colleges provide quality commandment at lower tuition rates and closer to menage than most big name universities. The college campus is the nucleus that draws students from all lifestyles. The of late graduated high school student, the cardinal-something up and coming captain and even the middle age p arent going covering to get their degree. These are the students that are drawn to the campus as a central point for their educational growth. They are all present for the same thing education and for the same core reasons, cash and location.
Young high school students typically cannot afford to have a bun in the oven for college tuition and a lot of them do not only have their own transportation. My sons are a prime role model of this. They both work and live at home, yet uncomplete can afford to pay for college tuition and board. My youngest son rides with me devil days a week to aid with fuel price and because he does not yet have a fomite of his own. If he was away at a university, we would be nonrecreational more for his education and he would not have every transportation. They are starting out here at Midlands tech where they can still live at home because in that respect is no stipulation that they live on campus the primary year, as there is at USC.
They both are working on their GPA so they can get better scholarships to help pay for their two years at university. They are doing their first two years here so they can illuminate core credits and maybe even an associates degree in the area they want to major in. Community campuses give these young high school graduates more choices for education.
The twenty something up and coming professionals of today need the flexibility of the schedules at a community college. Some of them already have degrees and right need to take some continuing education courses, or possibly get their bachelors degree patch working in their chosen field.
