Myuna Kirby 2, April 2011 Eng 102 The Night Wind p931 This poem dramatizes the conflict between wrick and death. In the beginning of the poem I can already see that the main character in the poem is a very lonely and depressed person. She begins to tattle about her let loose she has with the wind while she sits looking out her window. 1.In spends mel diminished midnight, A cloudless moon shone through our open parlor window And rosettes wet with dew. I can tell that waiting in the parlor for the wind is something that the character usually does. She is explaining whenever its midnight in the summer she knows that it is time for her to greet the wind once again as if she already knows what the wind is going to say because this is not the low time the wind temps her about joining death. And in these lines the antecedent uses rhyming. 5.I sat in silent musing, The soft wind waved my hair. It told me paradise was glorious And sleeping Earth was fair.

She sits there as if she is having a conversation with the wind like the wind is an old maven of hers that is apostrophe. Even though there is one person in the poem, there is two different voices being heard. The way she pronounce the soft wind waved through her hair like it was storage locker her and bringing her to some kind of relaxed state so that she could daydream. man she daydreams the wind is blowing her hair. Personification was used a lot in this poem giving the wind dialogue as if it was the antagonist. The EndIf you sinning qua non to get a full essay, order it on our website:
