He was detached from his mother, who died soon after he was born, and was raised on the smashing House Farm in Maryland. He worked for his white noble, whom he claims was his father, Captain Anthony. He wrote his own book called The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, which gives readers quite the visualiseing of his life.
