I had never read any far-famed valet de chambres of literature before but, this year I read; The Odyssey by Homer; Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare; The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe; and stories from the Bible. I have read apiece of the stories above and I leaned fewthing wise from each one. The Odyssey taught me to make flash cards to help me learn radical vocabulary, I will be received to put that new skill to good use in the future. William Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet taught me some new vocabulary it also showed me how English was spoken in those times. The Bible helped me get familiar with other stories, because the bible is such a well-known book it is often referenced to or quoted, this helped me understand what some stories meant.
Edgar Allen Poes The Raven was very raise and I enjoyed reading it however I believe this numbers was the least helpful to my reading in the future. The Raven had a melancholy tone and it made the stratum more thought-provoking but, all I did as I read the piece was try to understand what was happening. I will be sure to read it again in the future and maybe thence I will have a better grounds but, until then I think it was the least helpful story I read this year.
I also learned how to commence better notes. My last summer, before I had started high school , I was asked to read a book and take notes delinquent to the fact that I would be tested on it the prototypal day of school.
